Responsibilities and expertise
This role supports the video production team by organizing media, preparing rough cuts, trimming and arranging sequences, adding transitions, music, captions, basic effects, and assisting with audio and color adjustments. Responsibilities also include preparing videos in different formats and resolutions, managing revisions, organizing project files, and supporting final exports under senior creative direction.
Collaboration and delivery
The Jr. Video Editor works with relevant colleagues, including senior video editors, motion designers, graphic designers, content specialists, digital marketing teams, project managers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements, communicate progress, review feedback, solve editing challenges, and deliver work that meets quality standards. Creativity, attention to detail, organization, consistency, continuous learning, and dependable follow-through are important parts of the role.
